In recent years, due to the booming of electronic and semiconductor technologies, inductors and electronic control systems have also been widely used in the automotive field. Due to the introduction of these new systems, the performance of automobiles has been improved, energy consumption reduced and component life has been extended. However, performance improvements are often accompanied by more demanding system operating conditions, such as increased temperature and pressure. Concerns about product safety standards also have an impact on market acceptance.

An increasing number of customers have proposed for a fair third-party certification program for the evaluation of materials for consumers and manufacturers. Companies that offer approved materials that have undergone review by international certification authorities are committed to the demands of industry for safety and accountability.

In meeting with industry demands, GMORS has acquired material certification from UL (Underwriters Laboratories) which is an authority in the field of product and material certification. From sample delivery and testing, to evaluation and certification, six compounds from GMORS have passed UL certification and registered as UL listed compounds.

The six materials are: V7015AA (FKM), V7500AA (FKM), N7060AA (NBR), F7004BU02 (FVMQ), F3002BU (FVMQ), C7100AA (CR).

V7015AA is an FKM peroxide cured compound with a fluorine content of about 67%. In addition to high temperature resistance, oil resistance and chemical resistance, it has better low temperature resistance of down to -40 ° C, better than general FKM. V7015AA can be used not only in direct or indirect contact with oil, but also in eco-friendly vehicles running on ethanol fuel or bio-diesel.

V7500AA is an FKM bisphenol cured compound with a fluorine content of about 66%. It has good high temperature resistance, oil resistance and chemical resistance. It also has excellent resistance to compression and deformation. It is used in direct or indirect contact with oils, such as in engine exhaust systems. It is worth mentioning that this material can also be used in ethanol fuel vehicles to meet the needs of eco-friendly cars.

N7060AA is a high ACN nitrile rubber that is suitable for both dynamic and static applications. Enhanced characteristics such as tensile strength, hardness, hydrocarbon fuel resistance and abrasion resistance can be achieved with an increase in acrylonitrile content.

F7004BU02 is a fluorocarbon rubber with high temperature resistance and considerable oil resistance similar to FKM. Unlike the above two compounds V7500AA and V7015AA, compound F7004BU02 have exceptionally low temperature tolerance of down to -55° C , and can be used in a wide range of temperature environments suitable for different latitudes. It is also suitable for use in seals that directly or indirectly come into contact with oil, and can also be used in aviation-related static sealing applications.

Compound F3002BU is a low-hardness fluorocarbon silicone with high temperature resistance and considerable oil resistance. It is suitable for use in sealing applications that comes directly or indirectly into contact with oil.

In addition to developing products in the automotive and electronics related fields, GMORS is also actively developing application materials for refrigerant systems. C7100AA chloroprene rubber has good weather and ozone resistance, and is chemically resistant. It is resistant to ammonia, mineral oils and refrigerants, and is widely used in air-conditioning systems.
